DAVAO CITY, 19 April 2024 — The Members and Technical Working Group (TWG) and Advisory Board of the Philippine-EAGA Higher Education Institutions Network (PEHEIN) harmonized Network’s key documents in preparation for its registration in the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) via a hybrid session on April 19, 2024, at CHED Regional Office XI (CHED RO XI) Conference Room and via the ZOOM Platform.
The session, spearheaded by the CHED RO XI, aimed to convene the internal stakeholders of the Network to harmonize the Terms of References, Constitution and Bylaws, and Statement of Commitment as it is poised to formalize the network and officially open for membership.
Higher education institutions and relevant government line agencies including representatives from the CHED Regional Offices, Mindanao Development Authority, BARMM – Ministry of Basic, Technical, and Higher Education were present during the meeting.
Fifteen (15) participants attended face-to-face and twelve (12) individuals graced the online platform.
The next meeting is scheduled for 08 May 2024 to be hosted by the University of Southern Mindanao in Kabacan, North Cotabato.
